My Favorite Music

My favorite band is Coldplay. The music is amazing. Simply awesome.

1. Clocks by Coldplay. Listen to it here. (click the first one)

2. Viva La Vida by Coldplay. Listen to it here. (click the first)

3. Lost? by Coldplay. Listen to it here. (click the SECOND link. They are both the same song, but one is weird and funky, the other is just piano and is beautiful.)

My Story for the Marley and Me writing Contest.

Street Cat

RUN! RUN! That was all that was going through my mind as I escaped with my lunch. I had been eating rotten fish out of the trash can, when a pack of stray Rottweiler’s came upon me. They were growling and snarling, their warning for me to clear out.

I dashed away with my lunch. I was furious. Why did all of the dogs in the neighborhood get all of the food? I was so angry, I didn’t notice where I was. I was going down the wrong street. I was so distraught that I didn’t hear the truck coming up behind me. Suddenly, I was scooped up into a net.

When I awoke, I was in a cage. Then I heard the door open; a little girl squealed, and they opened my cage. The girl screamed, “KITTY,” and I was lifted out of my cage. They then put me in another cage, and we walked out. I was carried for a while, and we arrived at their house. I was carried in, and the girl me food and promptly put me into a tub of water after I ate. I jumped out immediately. I then streaked into the kitchen, leaving utter mayhem behind. When they caught me, they tossed me out into the cold yard.

After the parents had gone to bed, the little girl came and opened the door to let me in. I walked in tentatively, not knowing what to do. When I got in, she scooped me up and carried me back to her bedroom. She whispered that she loved me. This was a new feeling to me. Only now could I understand why the girl had let me in. It was because of love, of a bond that the animals shared with the Humans.

Note: This story is pretty cut down. My first version was 1000 words, but upon scrutiny of the rules, the maximum is 300 words. Ugh. Anyway, comment on it.

Random Fact of the Day…

Boredom Sucks! I mean, seriously, boredom is just so BORING!!! Right now, I am watching little children playing basketball with a hoop that is shorter than me. They are missing. Like I said, boredom sucks.

Of school busses and long trips on them.

Long trips on busses, especially long trips on a bumpy road, are terrible. Horrible. The prospect of this is simply miserable to think of. I can see why airplanes were invented, and I salute the Wright Bros. They were geniuses. Simply pioneers in easy, relaxing travel. Also, cars are much more non-bumpy, so whomever invented the car, was cool as well. And trains, at least trains have a smooth rocking motion that puts you to sleep.

Best Movies of 2008

The best movies of '08 are easily:

1. Batman: The Dark Knight
This is easily the best movie I have ever seen. There is so much to think about in this movie. The director, Christopher Nolan, is a genius. All of the actors screenplay is beautiful, especially Heath Ledger's. I thought the Batman voice was cheesy, until I saw the whole movie. It fits the character very well, and distinguishes Bruce Wayne from Batman.

2. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Harrison Ford is a great actor, even when he's old(ish). This movie requires no thinking, and you can just sit back and watch the fights and chases. A great movie.

3. Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr. plays Iron Man and Tony Stark very well. Who better to play a rich guy than a rich guy? Anyway, same as Indiana Jones, just sit back and watch the fight.
